Block A · Curated Shorts
A curated mix of shorts — drama, comedy, sci-fi, animation, documentary, and horror — followed by a Q&A.
Held annually at the Capitol Theater in Burlington, Iowa — a historic single-screen cinema five blocks from the actual Snake Alley.
SNAFF is a short-film festival. Audiences buy tickets to blocks — curated programs of eight to eleven shorts running roughly ninety minutes — not to individual films.
The festival runs over one long weekend each July. Twelve blocks. Around 129 films from 16 countries. One theater, one street, one bar across the street to argue at after.

A curated mix of shorts — drama, comedy, sci-fi, animation, documentary, and horror — followed by a Q&A.

Our late-night block — horror and the explicit, after dark. Adults only.

Animated shorts for grown-ups. This block contains adult content and is NOT a children's program.
