Looking ahead.
Submissions for SNAFF 2027 open this fall via FilmFreeway. We accept short films of 35 minutes or less — dramatic, comedy, documentary, horror, animation, sci-fi / fantasy, and music videos — produced in 2025, 2026 or 2027, plus unproduced short screenplays of 15 pages or less.
Every category is judged by a panel, and category winners go on to compete for Best of the Fest. Selected screenplays receive a live table read on the Capitol stage.
